The International Sports Hall of Fame (ISHOF) is a non-profit organization that was created in 2012 by Dr. Robert M. Goldman. He created it under the auspices of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Its mission is to commemorate the world’s greatest athletic legends across all different types of sports.

The purpose of the International Sports Hall of Fame (ISHOF) is to celebrate the sports stars of today in order to encourage future generations of athletes. Potential candidates for induction are chosen based on their past and present achievements in the world of athletics.

They also get recognition for their philanthropic initiatives mentoring kids and motivating future generations of athletes with an attitude of “giving back.” The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies come yearly on the first weekend of March. The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival remains the biggest festival yet in the sports hall of fame. This festival hosts over 200,000 people and over 22,000 competing athletes in over 80 different sports categories.
