Neymar Jr made headlines during the 2015 Copa America tournament when he kicked the ball at an opponent and headbutted another.
It all happened at the group stages when Brazil surprisingly lost 1-0 to Colombia. Immediately after the referee blew the final whistle, Neymar kicked the ball at one of the Colombia players.
He then approached Colombia’s goalscorer Jeison Murillo and headbutted him. Neymar’s actions sparked reactions from Colombian players who approached him with furry. He was shown a red card even though the final whistle had already been blown.

2. Attacking a Rennes fan
After the French cup final in 2019, Neymar had an altercation with a Rennes fan in 2019. Paris Saint Germain lost the match, and Neymar was not a happy man as he walked up the steps of Stade de France to collect his medal.
A Rennes fan was pointing his phone camera at Neymar. The Brazilian footballer did not appreciate what the Rennes fan was doing and immediately attacked him.
Neymar pushed the fan’s phone away with his right hand before exchanging words for a few seconds. The Paris Saint-Germain star then held the fan’s chin before appearing to have punched him. The fan had felt Neymar’s wrath before they were separated.
3. Willing to fight a Manchester City supporter
The incident happened in 2015 when Neymar was playing for FC Barcelona. The Catalans had travelled to England to face Manchester City in a UEFA Champions League fixture.
Neymar was on the bench after being substituted when a Manchester City fan caught his attention. The fan made a diving gesture with his hands at Neymar, who felt offended.
Neymar ushered the fan over before approaching him at full time. The Brazilian was willing to fight the fan when a steward intervened and stopped the fight that was almost starting.
4. Embarrassing dive and roll at the 2018 World Cup
Neymar Jr is well known for his diving habit. He was a target of mockery by football fans during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
