The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the deadline for submitting player registrations for players to teams that will participate in the CAF Championship (Caf Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup) on August 15.

Tanzania will be represented by 4 teams if Simba and Yanga will represent Tanzania in the CAF Champions League while Azam and Biashara will represent Tanzania in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Azam have one to complete while Yanga they are finishing the last two or three. As for Biashara, there is a need for TFF to step in and aid them in the process.

They are also required to start the pre-season early as the African tournament is scheduled to start on September 10-12 for preliminary first-round matches, and the entire CAF tournament schedule will be released on August 15.

CAF has continued with the team’s process of making changes (sub) of five (5) players in one game instead of three (3). Also on the bench nine (9) players are allowed to sit instead of seven (7) players and in registration, the team is allowed to register players not more than 40 instead of 30 players.
