Kristoffer Olson, a former Arsenal midfielder has been hospitalized after he lost consciousness at his home, with what the medics are saying is due to an acute brain condition. The player collapsed at his home and was rushed to the hospital where he is currently on a ventilator, with a team of leading medical experts from Denmark.
He has been absent in the recent period for his current club FC Midtjylland and there were speculations about his missing the club that took up the motive of announcing that he had been unwell and was not able to play because of his health.
While playing for Arsenal, he won 47 caps for his country and his tenure with the club is still incredible. The club wished him a quick recovery as some of his former teammates have been to the hospital to check on him and his progress.

At 13 years, he received a trial offer from Chelsea but opted to play for IFK Norrkoping where he played for three seasons before embarking on a new challenge with English giants Arsenal, earning a permanent move.

He progressed through the youth ranks and his senior debut came two years later as a substitute in a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion. Seeking regular playing time, he was sent on loan to FC Midtjylland for one season, and in the next, he made the move permanent.
Two years after signing for the permanent deal, he returned to Sweden and signed for Allsvenskan club AIK where he established himself as a key player. Two years later, he joined Russian Premier League club FC Krasnodar where he spent two seasons before moving to Belgium to join Anderlecht.
He has represented Sweden at various youth levels including being called up for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship and made his senior debut for the team in 2021, being part of the Swedish squad that participated in the delayed Euro 2020 tournament.
Olsson currently plays for FC Midtjylland in Denmark, having returned to the club in 2023 after a stint at Anderlecht.

Mat Kristoffer was born on June 30 1995 in Norrkoping, Sweden where he started his professional career before joining Arsenal. He is also a member of the Sweden national team and represented them at the UEFA Euro 2020.
The midfielder is married to Sofie Jakobsson who is also a professional footballer and they have a child together. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, and spending time with family and friends, and is a big supporter of IFK Norrkoping.
