Just like many other tennis professionals, Andrey Rublev began his career as a junior. In 2014, he won the junior title at Roland-Garros aged 16 after defeating Jaime Munar in the final. That same year, he won the bronze medal in singles and the silver in doubles at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.
Andrey Rublev finished his junior career by winning the inaugural ITF Junior Masters in Chengdu, China. He defeated Taylor Fritz in the final by three sets.
