Early Life 

For biography starters, Stefanos Tsitsipas was born on 12 August 1998 in the city of Athens to a tennis family. His father, Apostolos Tsitsipas, is a tennis coach while his mother, Julia Apostoli, is a former tennis player who represented the Soviet Union.

Due to Stefanos’ tennis background, he was introduced into the sport at a very young age. He used to watch tennis games and hit balls with his father in the gap between lessons. He also participated in other sports such as swimming and football.
