Early Life

The Japanese began his football career while he was still a small boy and idolized Javier Mascherano. He was first scouted by the Sanchiku Kickers’ general manager Kanji Tsuji, who convinced his parents to let him play football. 

When he was eleven years old, he passed FC Barcelona trials and was offered a chance in the club’s academy. However, it was difficult for him to relocate to Spain, so he joined Avispa Fukuoka. It was at Avispa Fukuoka that he began playing as a defender; he previously played as a midfielder. 

Career
