- The last Grand Slam of the year, the US Open is now on
- It’s the most lucrative of the four major Grand Slams
- The New York Stakes are high more than you can ever imagine
The last Grand Slam of the year is here, and questions on US Open prize money for 2022 are flooding the internet.
The year’s final major tournament will be held in New York, and it is expected to be the most glamorous. That’s despite Novak Djokovic’s king of hard court victories missing out.
Tough Covid-19 regulations for all non-Americans entering the US locked him out. One of the conditions is that he must be vaccinated. Yet, he holds a different stand and opted out of the Grand Slam.
Back to the main topic. This Grand Slam, in contrast to the previous three, isn’t controlled by a single player. As a result, it provides a higher level of entertainment for the spectators.
It becomes exciting now that Rafael Nadal will be looking out for his 23rd title, and Roger Federer is also absent.
The tournament kicks off from August 29 to September 11, 2022 in New York City. The next two weeks promise a perfect dose of tennis debacle as each player chases a Grand Slam.
