- The revival of the Premier League is sure to pique the interest of top-flight athletes from all over the globe
- However, not everybody is going to be excited about the return of action
- These African players may not be happy with their current clubs and would leave if a good opportunity presented itself
For some African players whose current clubs do not want them or do not utilise them to their full potential. Time is running out before they may make the move that will rekindle the fire in their professional life.
Here are six African players who should probably try something new before the opportunity passes them.

Pepe is one of the African players who may need a move, the Arsenal player was in a better form in Ligue 1, but we can say otherwise in the Premier League so far.
Last season, he showed signs of declining performance while playing for Mikel Arteta. This is a concern for a player who should be reaching the pinnacle of his abilities.
It would probably be best for Wideman if he tried to recover his prior level of play with another team.
It’s possible that the more ambitious Newcastle United might be swayed to steal him away from Arsenal
Eric Bailey

It appears that whatever dreams that Bailey had of establishing his imprint under Erik ten Hag have been dashed. As a result of the signing of Lisandro Martinez for a staggering amount of money of €57.37 million.
Considering the stiff competition with the likes of Varane, Maguire Lindelof and Martinez —along with Phil Jones still lurking around Bailey, will lack game time.
The injury-prone centre-back has been connected with clubs like Sevilla and AS Roma. It would likely be beneficial for all involved if Bailly left Manchester United for greener pastures elsewhere.

It was originally thought that he would become a cornerstone of the Tottenham Hotspur defence.
Still, it now appears that injuries, competition, and the shifting fortunes of Spurs have diminished Tanganga‘s chances of achieving that goal.
Despite Antonio Conte’s use of a back three, the addition of Clement Lenglet signifies intense competition for Tanganga, who stands to be sixth in the chain of importance for a centre position.
It has been said that AC Milan in Italy is interested in the African players, and they are keeping an eye on his availability.
Jean-Philippe Gbamin

Over the course of the past three years, Gbamin has struggled mightily while playing for Everton.
The signing of Allan two years ago, and the latest Idrissa Gueye, make it difficult to foresee a future in the first team for Gbamin. Since his arrival, The Ivory Coast international has played in just two matches.
Gbamin is only 26, so its possible that he will never get to be the player he was initially supposed to become. However, a change of scenery might at least help him get back on track.
Bertrand Traore

It is incomprehensible how Traore received a nomination for the Caf African Footballer of the Year award even though he had a dreadful season at Aston Villa.
Bertrand Traore had a disappointing season, winning only one game combined for club and nation (playing four minutes in Villa’s 3-0 win against Everton) and making just one start in the English Top Division. Yet, he was still considered for the African Player of the Year award.
The 26-year-old was only on the field for one triumph during the entire year, with either his club or his country, which is a terrible result for someone his age.
There is little doubt that injuries played a role. But it would appear that the striker does not have Steven Gerrard’s faith.
According to reports, the Liverpool veteran omitted Traore in his first team group throughout pre-season.
Hudson-Odoi

When Hudson-Odoi made his debut with the squad, lofty goals were set for his performance.
In the years that followed, high expectations were placed on Hudson-Odoi. However, he was never able to firmly establish himself as an essential component of the starting eleven.
Even though he started 11 games for Chelsea during the previous season, Thomas Tuchel does not consider him a crucial player for the team, and he has never scored more than two goals in a single Premier League campaign.
It is possible that the Ghanaian will be able to demonstrate his ability to be a true game-changer in the Premier League if he moves to Newcastle United.
