Early Life

On February 8, 1995, Joshua Kimmich came into the world in Rottweil, Germany. Kimmich began his football career as a youth player for VfB Stuttgart. After that, in July of 2013, he became a member of RB Leipzig. Stuttgart negotiated a repurchase option and he made his debut for the club in the 3. Liga that same year. He came on as a replacement for Thiago Rockenbach during the club’s 2–2 draw with SpVgg Unterhaching.

In March 2015, Kimmich scored his first goal of the 2014–15 season in a game against Union Berlin, which ended in a 3–2 victory for his team. After 53 games in the league for the club, Kimmich finished his career with Stuttgart with a total of three goals.

Career

Joshua Kimmich signed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich in January 2015 for a reported sum of €7 million. Most of this fee went to VfB Stuttgart.
