It has been revealed that Naomi Osaka and her coach Wim Fissette have parted ways, and Fissette made the announcement on his Instagram account.
The alliance has been fruitful for the duo over the past two years, as seen by their victories at the Australian Open in 2021 and the United States Open in 2020.
It is not apparent what caused the two to break apart.

Osaka won the Australian Open in 2021 and the U.S. Open in 2020 with her coach, Fissette, who began working with Osaka before the start of the 2020 season.
He has collaborated with a number of the sport’s other major celebrities, notably Simona Halep and Victoria Azarenka, and a few more.
The Japanese Tennis star had not competed in a tournament since the beginning of this summer when she was eliminated in the first round of the French Open.
She is now ranked No. 38 in the world as a result of her withdrawal from a number of events over the past year and a half, the most notable of which was the 2021 French Open, from which she pulled out due to her responsibilities in the media and her struggles with her mental health.
Since then, the 24-year-old has only seldom participated in games.
It is anticipated that Osaka will compete again in August at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic, which will be her first match since May 23.
The tournament will take place in San Jose, California. Osaka made her debut in the WTA main draw at the tournament in 2014.
Other notable players will also be competing, such as the Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, Coco Guff Ons Jabeur, and others.
Her most recent match was in May at Roland Garros, where she was defeated in the opening round by Amanda Anisimova.

However, she is scheduled to make her comeback to the WTA tour in San José the following month after suffering an Achilles injury.
However, perhaps of greater significance is that the tournament will begin approximately one month before the start of the U.S. Open in New York.
Osaka’s decision to end her relationship with her coach comes on the heels of her departure from the prestigious agency IMG in May, shortly before she and her former agent Stuart Duguid co-founded Evolve.
A month ago, Nick Kyrgios was unveiled as the first player to sign with Osaka’s new sports agency. Kyrgios is an Australian professional tennis player.
Even though she does not now have a coach, it appears that Osaka is making preparations to continue competing for the remainder of the season.
