5. Cafu
Cafu developed himself as one of the finest Brazilian footballers, winning every club and national competition trophy. With 142 appearances for the Brazil National Team, the iconic right-back is Brazil’s most capped player
Cafu was an inseparable part of whichever team he played for, winning the World Cups in 1994 and 2002, the Copa America in 1997 and 1999, and the FIFA Confederations Cup in 1997.
Cafu won Serie A titles with Milan and Milan and the Champions League in 2006-07.
He is the only player in history to have appeared in three consecutive World Cup finals (1994, 1998, and 2002), and he captained the team that won in 2002.
4. Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho‘s big smile and extraordinary street football skills helped him become a ball icon in the early 2000s.
He and Rivaldo formed Brazil’s exciting front three at the 2002 World Cup, and he proceeded to win the Ballon d’Or in 2005.
His most successful club career was at Barcelona, where he won two league titles and the Champions League in 2005-06.
He became the second Barca player after Maradona to receive a big applause from Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.
That comes as a result of two impressive solo goals in El Clasico, and it only fitted one of the best footballers of his generation.
3. Romario

Romario scored over 1,000 goals (approximately) in his professional career spanning two decades. Throughout his career, the forward has played for clubs such as Vasco Da Gama, Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven, and Valencia.
Despite his lack of success in club football, Romario had his fair share of international success as a member of the World Cup-winning team in 1994.
He also won the Copa America in 1989 and 1997 and the Confederations Cup in 1997 for Brazil.

Nazario is regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time. The Rio de Janeiro native was an inspiration to many current crop strikers, displaying spectacular skills and a fearsome appetite for goals.
Ronaldo was a talented striker with dizzying dribbling skills.
His great scoring rate extended from Cruzeiro to PSV Eindhoven to clubs such as Barcelona, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Inter, giving him much honour of representing all four clubs from either side of the legendary rivalries.
Ronaldo won the Ballon d’Or two times and was named World Player of the Year three times. He was the best player in the world in the late 1990s.

His football career would’ve been even more remarkable if it hadn’t been cut short by recurring knee injuries.
1. Pele
Pele is the highest goalscorer of all time, as per FIFA, with 1,281 goals in 1,363 games, and even if only competitive fixtures for club and country are included, it is still an impressive 775 goals in 840 games
Most of these came during his 18-year stint with Santos, where he won 24 big trophies and rapidly became a club legend
Pele holds the world record for being Brazil’s youngest scorer (aged 16 years) and is their all-time top goalscorer, with 77 goals in 92 games. He is a three-time World Cup champion and unquestionably one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
