He attended Upper Room Christian School where his talent began to shine and earned recognition on the Long Island Basketball honor roll. His hard work earned him a scholarship to the Memphis Tigers where he became a fan favourite and helped the team get to the NCAA Tournament.

Quinones’ dream became a reality when he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA draft. As a part of a two-way contract, he splits his time between the Warriors and their G League affiliate the Santa Cruz Warriors which allows him to develop his skills while gaining valuable playing experience.
