Celebrated WTA tennis star Victoria Azarenka has opened up on one thing that she admires most about Novak Djokovic.
Azarenka, a two-time Grand Slam champion, showered Djokovic with praise following his victory at the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.
Djokovic beat Jannik Sinner in two sets to seal his seventh ATP Master 1000 victory, earning him a total of at least $23 million in cash prizes.

Azarenka, a former world No. 1 said she admired Djokovic’s capacity to raise his level of play and determination to win no matter the situation.
She said most people don’t understand this concept, but it is what makes the Serbian the tennis G.O.A.T he is today.

Presently ranked world No 22, Azarenka won the Australian Open in 2012 and 2013, while she was a runner-up at the US Open in 2012, 2013, and 2020.

Djokovic triumphed over Jannik Sinner 6-3 and 6-3 in the 2023 ATP Finals. Sinner tried his luck to become the first player to win the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, since Andy Murray in 2016.
But the 36-year-old defeated the Italian’s on home ground to capture the 71st “Big Title” of his amazing career.
In a rematch of their November 15 encounter, Novak Djokovic dominated against Sinner, replicating a victory in three sets. Sinner’s decision not to challenge a call further expedited Djokovic’s win, taking merely eighteen minutes to secure the match.

Sinner struggled to counter Djokovic’s unwavering ascent, managing to tie the score only after 14 consecutive points scored by Djokovic. Despite a break point opportunity, Sinner couldn’t thwart Djokovic’s march to victory.
Djokovic’s triumph in the final game marked another addition to his illustrious career, securing his seventh ATP Finals with a 77% success rate, surpassing Roger Federer’s record.

Since making his debut in the competition in 2007, Djokovic has amassed 14,1000 tour points thanks to his 50 victories overall—nine more than Federer. He has made at least $23 million.

Unfortunately, the anticipated matchup with his friend and former adversary, Murray, won’t unfold as the 2016 Wimbledon champion withdrew due to injury.
