Elisabeth Cebrian is a retired Spanish female basketball player and legend with the most appearances in the Spanish national team and currently works for FIBA Europe as a member of the Women’s Basketball Commission. Cebrian started playing with the Spain women’s basketball team when she was eighteen years old and proceeded to the senior team for fifteen years.
She participated in two Olympic Games, three World Championships and five European Championships. Her career flowed with success since she began playing. She played basketball at club Basquet Reus Ploms, Spain and later played for club Basquet Femeni Sant Adria for 12 seasons, where she won 9 Copas de la Reina also known as the Queen’s Cups, 9 Spanish Leagues and a EuroLeague.

Elisabeth Cebrian’s career journey
Cebrian started playing basketball at the Club Basquet Reus Ploms in Spain and then moved to Club Basquet Femeni Sant Adria where she played for 12 seasons and won 9Copas de la Reina also known as the Queen’s Cups, 9 Spanish Leagues and the EuroLeague.
Her career journey has been with great success for every team she played for. She joined Club Basquet Girona for three seasons, Basquet Femeni Medina del Elx for two seasons, La Seu d’Urgell for two seasons, Joventut Badalona for one season and then returned to Club Basquet Femeni Sant Adria where she ended her career.
The former player was a member of the Spain women’s national team for 15 seasons and played in three Summer Olympic Games in 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. She also played in three World Championships and was also a key player in the team that won a gold medal at the 193 EuroBasket Women.
