Your favourite NBA star Shaquille O’Neal recently underwent hip replacement surgery which sparked a lot of concern, but there is more to it.
He tweeted a message for his co-hosts, Ernie Johnson and Candace Parker, along with a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
O’Neal in a tweet said the love he is getting is overwhelming but it is not that serious.
“To all the people who are worried and concerned. First off, let me say thank you. And lastly, no need to worry, just had to get some BBL WORK AKA #hipreplacement. Thanks and love you all. But no need to worry and yes I’m fine,” he tweeted.
At 51, his eyes are set on modelling for major underwear brands. He consistently lifts weight and has improved his physique significantly, especially with commendable weight loss.

He disclosed his plans of modelling at a podcast, ‘Impaulsive’ by Logan Paul.
“I was 401 pounds. Now I’m 365,” O’Neal said. “I’m trying to take it back to 345, he said. “I want to have muscles everywhere, and I want to do an underwear ad with my sons [for] Fruit of the Loom, baby.”
In addition, O’Neal discussed his diet and exercise routine on “The Big Podcast with Shaq” before his hip replacement surgery.
He was positive that by April 16, he will have lost 30 pounds to get an “eight-pack” because he is currently three steps to it.
Shaq is on what he refers to as the “5-1 diet,” which he defined as “five Bullshit meals and one meal.” His breakfast includes a shake for breakfast.
He then has four chicken breasts with salad and ketchup and down it with another shake. That’s his full-day meal plan.
Before he went for surgery the former Lakers player told his fans that he was excited at the prospect of toning up radically.
His modelling career is just one of his many surprising undertakings in life, but it doesn’t rival his controversial dating history.
Reading his autobiography, “Shaq Uncut: My Story,” you understand why controlling your emotions is crucial in life. He acknowledges that off the court, he committed mistakes.
“I admit it, I was a guy. I was a guy with too many options,” he indicates. “Choosing to be with some of those women, well, that’s on me. In my mind, I never did it disrespectfully, but obviously I shouldn’t have done it all.”

He dated Arnetta Yardbourgh in 1992 after a long friendship going way back to his high school days. They even had a child together Taahirah.
They separated years later and dated Shaunie who he later married in 2002 and got four children together.
O’Neal later divorced Shaunie and dated ‘Flavor of Love’ actress Nicole Alexander before his divorce and Shaunie was even over.
Besides these three women, he had a long list of flings with among others, model Laticia Rolle and ‘Basketball Wives LA’ actress Laura Govan.
While he has denied being romantically involved with some of these women, he made great mistakes in his dating life.
