The Cytizens have signed some of the best players in the world and also hired the best managers in Europe. As a result, they have become one of the most successful clubs in the football world, which leads to the question of who owns Manchester City?

Who Are The Owners Of Manchester City?
Premier League giants Manchester City are under the ownership of the Abu Dhabi-based Abu Dhabi United Group. The investment company belongs to the Abu Dhabi royal family and is owned by Sheikh Mansour.
The group purchased Manchester City in 2008 after a tumultuous period under Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. According to Metro Sport, Sheikh Mansour’s company acquired Manchester City for 200 million euros when the club was in a financial crisis.
After fully acquiring the club, Sheikh handed over the responsibility of running it to Khaldoon Al Mubarak and the City Football Club (CFG). The CFG now acts as Manchester City’s parent company, which explains why some sources describe them as the owners.
How Much Are Manchester City Owners Worth?
According to Goal.com, Sheikh Mansour has a net worth of around 16.8 billion euros. And that makes the Premier League giants the second richest club in the world at the moment, after Newcastle United.
Newcastle United’s majority owners, the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, are thought to have a net worth of around 320 billion euros.
