The WWE Hall of Fame is a hall of fame which honours the promotion’s professional wrestlers and personalities.
The hall of fame was originally known as the WWF Hall of Fame when it was created in 1993. Over the years, we have seen legendary wrestlers like The Undertaker, Ric Flair and Booker T join the elite group.
The induction ceremony usually happens 1-2 nights before Wrestlemania every year. And in 2023, we expect several professional wrestlers and wrestling personalities to be honoured.
Here, we will discuss five WWE superstars who could be inducted into the promotion’s hall of fame in 2023.
1. Umaga

It is usually a touching moment when the family of a departed wrestler pays tribute to their relative in front of WWE fans.
We are likely to witness such a moment in 2023 since Umaga is one of the WWE superstars who could be inducted into the hall of fame.
Umaga, a member of the Anoa’i family, was one of the best professional wrestlers until his demise in December 2009.
Umaga joined WWE in 2001 and was a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion. With his family being at the forefront of Vince McMahon’s promotion, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he becomes a hall of famer next year.
2. Dave Bautista
WWE previously stated their intentions of inducting Dave Batista into their hall of fame in 2023. Well, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if The Animal becomes a hall of famer next year.
Dave Batista began his wrestling career in 1999 and joined WWF (now known as WWE) in 2000. Between 2002 and 2010, Dave Bautista was an icon in the ring who achieved great success.
The Animal has held numerous titles, including four World Heavyweight Championships and two WWE Championships.

3. Mickie James
Mickie James is in history as one of the most decorated female wrestlers of all time. The American international began her wrestling career in 1999 and made her WWE main roster debut in 2005.
Mickie James won the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time at Wrestlemania 22 and further held it four more times.
She won her first Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2009 after defeating Maryse Oullet. As a result, Mickie James became the second superstar to hold both the Women’s and Divas titles.
With such an amazing record with WWE, it would be a surprise if she becomes a hall of fame inductee before Wrestlemania next year.
WWE released Mickie in 2010, but she was officially brought back in 2016. She made several appearances before being released again in 2021.
4. William Regal
William Regal is, without a doubt, a certified WWE legend. However, he is yet to be inducted into the WWE hall of fame.
Regal has served WWE in various capacities until he was released earlier this year. He was a wrestler, commentator and also had stints as an on-screen authority figure.
Williams was a talent scout who later served as Director of Talent Development and Head of Global Recruiting.
During his wrestling days, William Regal was a four-time tag team champion and a two-time Intercontinental champion. He also won the Hardcore Championship five times and the European Championship twice.
Due to his close working relationship with Triple H over the years, William Regal could finally find his way into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
5. Fit Finlay

Fit Finlay is a second-generation wrestler who spent his career days wrestling all over the world. Born David Finlay Jr., Fit Finlay has held over 20 championships.
He was tasked with overseeing WWE women’s division at a time when the WWE Divas were utilized more for their sex appeal and bikini contests.
Finlay did an impressive job as female wrestlers such as Trish Stratus, Victoria, and Lita developed under his guidance.
The 64-year-old Irish wrestling legend is now a producer at WWE. Apart from his championship wins, Finlay deserves to be a hall of famer because of his outstanding role in women’s wrestling. And 2023 could be the right time for his induction.
