He will have a total of $532 million in guaranteed earnings over the course of his career.

According to the website Spotrac, which tracks salaries, LeBron James will now have a greater lifetime earning potential than Kevin Durant, thanks to his new contract, which will guarantee him a minimum of $528.9 million over the course of his career.

Fears that James, a four-time NBA champion and 18-time All-Star who is approaching the final year of his contract (for $44.5 million), would test the waters of free agency next summer have been put to rest by the pact.

James’s nett worth of $1.2 billion includes cash from endorsement deals, business interests, and his very own entertainment production firm, in addition to the salary he receives from the NBA.

James begins his 20th season with the Lakers. He won his first championship with the team in 2020 and is looking to capture his second title with them this season.
