Borna Coric rounded off a dream week by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the Cincinnati championship and become the lowest-rated winner of a Masters 1000 tournament.

Following his astonishing victories over Rafael Nadal and  Cameron Norrie and others, he defeated Tsitsipas 7-6(0) 6-2

After losing to Novak Djokovic in his only prior Masters’s final in Shanghai, which took place in 2018, this is Coric’s first title at this level and his third overall in the ATP.

As a result, the player who once held the position of world No. 12 has become only the fourth person from Croatia to win the Masters 1000 title.
