For starters, Jon Jones is one of the most prominent figures in the world of combat sports. Jones is currently signed to the UFC where he is the Heavyweight champion.

Having been a competitor since 2008, the 36-year-old is widely regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. He currently has a record of 27 wins and one loss, which was via disqualification. Interestingly, he claimed the UFC Heavyweight Championship in his first fight in the division early last year. He previously competed in the Light Heavyweight Championship and was the champion until he moved up the weight divisions.

Apart from his hard work over the years, the fighters success has also been inspired by his blood brothers. Jon Jones brothers are also athletes who have achieved success at the top level.

Growing up, Jones and his brothers were very competitive. One of the brothers, Chandler Jones, previously talked about the healthy competition they had as kids and how it helped shape their careers.

“We were very competitive. We still are. But I mean three brothers who all ended up being professional athletes? You always want to do better than the other brother, so the competitive nature, I think it helped make each of successful.” Chandler Jones said in an old interview, as per Essentially Sports.

Who is Jon Jones’ Brother Chandler Jones?

One of Jon Jones brothers, Chandler Jones, is a football player who has played in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders.

Chandler was born on 27 February 1990, in Rochester, New York, and is the youngest of the three brothers. He attended Union-Endicott High School and was one of the players in the school team. After showing his potential on the field, he was selected as the SuperPrep All-Northeast and PrepStar All-East Region.

The American continued to play football even after moving to college for higher studies. He was at Syracuse University where he continued to impress and was eventually by NFL clubs. While in his last year of college, he was a first round NFL pick by the England Patriots.

Chandler went on to test success for the first time in the NFL when his team won the Super Bowl in 2015. The defensive end player would then go on to sign with the Arizona Cardinals that same year.

After six years with the Cardinals, he moved to the Las Vegas Raiders where he signed a three-year massive $51 million contract. Unfortunately, he was released by the Raiders in September last year after being arrested because of a confrontation with police.

Who Is Arthur Jones?

Born on 3 June 1986, Arthur Jones is the oldest of the Jon Jones brothers. He attended the same high school as his brother Chandler and also played football as a teenager. Unlike Chandler, he had a soft spot for wrestling and even participated in tournaments, including the New York State Wrestling Championships.

Arthur was good at wrestling but opted to pursue a career in football instead of signing with a top promotion like WWE. During the summer of 2010, he was signed by the Baltimore Ravens after being selected in the fifth round of the NFL draft.

Arthur struggled for playing time in his debut season, making just two appearances and recording zero assists. However, this changed the following season as he played in 14 matches.

Jones signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 and would later play for the Washington Redskins before announcing his retirement from the sport via Instagram. His most memorable moment as a player was winning the Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.
