Joe Joyce defeated Joseph Parker on Saturday night after 11 rounds of a gruelling affair.

Joyce claimed the WBO interim heavyweight title with the biggest win of his life as he increased his pro boxing record to 15-0.

Parker, a former world champion, started well and showed control of the match as he landed heavy shots on his opponent.

However, Joe Joyce kept coming forward and eventually bloodied his nose in the second round. The fight between the two took shape in the third round as both Joyce and Parker exchanged heavy blows.

Joyce rocked Joseph Parker in the fourth round with amazing one-two punches that sent the crowd wild. However, Kiwi fought back as the pro he is until the final bell of the round.

Joseph Parker tried to take control of the match in the fifth round by throwing heavy punches using his big left hand. However, Joyce responded to every punch with his own spiteful shots.

The Londoner felt he could withstand every punch Parker threw and fearlessly attacked before trapping him in the corner of the ring.

Parker tried to defend himself while in the corner by throwing body shots at Joyce. But that didn’t stop the onslaught.

Joe Joyce bloodied Parker’s nose again and opened a big cut slightly above his right eye. Joyce was attacking aggressively when the bell rang on time to save Parker, who had stumbled backwards.

Joyce remained implacable and expressionless as his opponent struggled to breathe. Parker’s cut above the eye clearly bothered him as he continuously touched it.

The visitor threw a hard left in the eighth round, making Joyce stagger. However, the Briton moved forward again and continued to attack.

Joseph Parker threw another punch in the ninth round, which made Joyce stand still for a second. But that did not succeed in stopping him from flooding forward again.

Parker smashed Joyce in the face with four shots during the tenth round, but the Briton still stood strong. Joyce snuffed out mercilessly, throwing cruel shots into Parker off either hand.

A massive left hook from Joyce in the eleventh round bombed into Parker’s jaw and toppled the Kiwi over.

Joseph Parker fell heavily to the deck and was trying to rise up when the referee stopped the match in that round.

Joe Joyce is now the first man to stop Joseph Parker with his outstanding performance. The New Zealander had never been broken down in such a brutal fashion before.

Joyce is now the leading challenger to face Oleksandr Usyk for the full heavyweight championship later this year or early next year. And the Briton is ready to face Oleksandr Usyk any time.
