During Napoli’s Serie A trophy celebration at the end of the 2023/24 season, Osimhen was seen carrying his daughter on the pitch. He played a massive role in Napoli’s Serie A triumph as he netted 26 league goals, which also saw him become the first African player to win the Golden Boot in Italy.

He was satisfied with Al-Ahli’s salary offer and agreed to join the Saudi club but the move failed to materialize because Napoli asked for a higher transfer fee.

Al-Ahli ended up signing a ‘cheaper’ Ivan Toney from Brentford and Osimhen found himself at Napoli as the transfer window closed on the last day of August.
