Wembley Stadium is a well known football stadium in London, England. Known as the temple of football, Wembley has been the venue of some of football’s most famous moments over the years. In fact, it will be the venue for this year’s UEFA Champions League final.

Wembley boasts a capacity of 96,924 and is the largest stadium in Europe. Apart from hosting football matches, Wembley is also used as a venue for non-sporting activities such as pop concerts.

2. Santiago Bernabeu 

The Santiago Bernabeu is undoubtedly one of the best football stadiums in the world. Home to Spanish club Real Madrid, the Santiago Bernabeu has a capacity of 83,186. Estadio Azteca is a well known stadium located in Mexico City. It is the home of Club America and Mexico and the venue where Diego Maradona scored his ‘Hand of God’ goal and the ‘Goal of the Century’.

The famous Estadio Azteca does not only rank among the best football stadiums but also the largest. The stadium, with the capacity to hold up to 105,000 fans, is the largest in Latin America.

5. San Siro

Allianz Arena is not only a stadium but a famous landmark in Munich that is home of the football club FC Bayern Munich.
