HOW DO I GET MY WTA RANKING?

Climbing the WTA ladder starts with playing and earning points in tournaments. You need points from at least 3 tournaments or 10 singles/doubles points total to even enter the rankings.

Your ranking is based on your best 16 singles and 11 doubles results over the past 52 weeks. Points are awarded based on how far you progress in each event, with Grand Slams, WTA 1000s, and Premier Mandatories carrying the most weight.

How do you earn more points? Play regularly in many tournaments because every game, even if you lose, earns you points. Additionally, aim for grand slam events because they earn more points, the same case for Master 1000 events.

Overall, improve your game so that you win more tournaments and earn more points.
