Career
Coming from a football-loving hometown, Dani Ceballos began playing football from a young age. He joined Sevilla’s youth system in 2004 at the age of eight, but was released five years later due to a chronic bronchitis problem.
Ceballos went on to play for Utrera and completed his development at Real Betis. On 22 February 2014, he signed his first professional contract while still a junior. Two months later, he made his Real Betis debut without even playing for the B team. He came on as a late substitute in a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad.
On 15 October 2015, Dani Ceballos renewed his contract with Real Betis. He would play for the club until the summer of 2017 when he joined Real Madrid, signing a six-year deal. He made his debut for the La Liga giants on 16 August as a substitute for Toni Kroos in a 2-0 victory over Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana.

On 25 July 2019, Real Madrid loaned Ceballos to Arsenal on a season-long loan. He made his debut for the Gunners on 17 August, recording two assists in a 2-1 win over Burnley.
