Ognjen was born in Krusevac, Serbia on September 1 1995 to his Serbian parents Milan, father and Snezana Jaramaz. His father is a former basketball player who played for KK Borac Cacak in the Yugoslav First League.

His mother is a housewife and has an older sister Milica, who works as a resident doctor in a hospital in Belgrade after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac, Serbia.

Growing up for him was not difficult as his parents could afford all he needed and in return, the guard showed hard work and dedication in everything he did.

When he started playing basketball at a tender age, his parents were very supportive and attended all of his games. It was not easy to balance basketball and studies though with his family’s support, he was able to conquer that.

He played for a hometown club known as Napredak Krusevac then he moved to Partizan where he played for the youth categories since then, he has been to several clubs and his career has grown.

Jaramaz is currently single as he has decided to shift all his focus to his basketball career.

CAREER

Jaramaz started playing basketball at a young age and he played for a hometown club Napredak Krusevac then moved to Partizan where he played for the youth categories.

He was signed by Mega Vizura and was immediately loaned out to Smederevo 1953 for that season where he made his professional debut.

Jaramaz was selected with the 58th overall pick by the New York Knicks in the NBA draft and played for the Knicks during the 2017 NBA Summer League.

In the following season, the player returned to Mega Vizura where he played for three seasons before leaving and later rejoined them for half a season.

He signed a new two-year contract with a Spanish club San Pablo Burgos where he played for the first season and in the second, he was loaned out to Partizan where he spent two more seasons.

After the seasons at Partizan, Jaramaz was signed by Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga [BBL] and the EuroLeague.

Jaramaz is a member of the Serbian national team and represented them at the U16, U18 and U20 European Championships.

 He also played for Serbia at the EuroBasket in 2017 and 2022. Jaramaz has made several achievements in his career and here we look at some of them:
