Krunal Pandya showed signs of becoming a cricket star when he was just six years old. As a result, his father shifted him from Surat to Vadodara to equip him with better cricket facilities.
Pandya enrolled through the ranks of various age-level crickets and participated in various local tournaments. In March 2013, he made a lean domestic T20 debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy for Baroda in the Group B clash against Bengal.
