Becoming a professional football in a male-dominated sport was not easy for the midfielder as her teachers and coaches also discouraged her. However, she beat all odds and is a proud fighter.

The midfielder trained hard for local tournaments and finally got an opportunity to play for the Rivers Angels, one of the top women’s football clubs in Nigeria.

At the club, she became a key player and she helped the team to win the Nigeria Women’s Premier League for three consecutive years the following year, she was named the Most Valuable Player of the League.

A year later, she was fortunate to join the Bayelsa Queens where she continued playing at a high level even helping them win the Nigeria Women’s Premier League and was also named to the CAF Women’s Team of the Year in 2019.

The player made her debut for the Nigeria national team and has since won over 20 caps. She was a member of the Nigeria squad that won the African Women’s Championship and also played in the Women’s World Cup the following year.

Glory was included in the 23-player Nigerian squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023 in Sydney, Australia. She currently plays for Turkish club Besiktas JK.
