Career
Just like Diamond Dallas, Eric Bischoff began his wrestling journey at American Wrestling Association where he worked for a few years.
In 1991, Eric joined WCW as a commentator. Two years later, he got a new role as the Vice President of Wrestling Operations. In 1994, he became the Vice President hence gaining direct control of WCW. He helped the promotion made profits and launched Nitro before becoming the President of WCW.
Eric was an on-screen personality during the nwo storyline in 1996. He feuded with The Outsiders and then joined the stable, hence turning heel.
In 1999, Eric was relieved of his managerial duties and he remained an on-screen personality and writer for WCW. Two years later, he was released after WWF (now WWE) bought WCW.

Eric signed with WWE in 2002 and became the General Manager of Raw. For the next three years, he was an on-screen personality and was heavily featured on Raw.
By the end of his era as Raw General Manager, Eric had feuded with John Cena and was involved in a romantic angle with Stephanie McMahon. He was once again released from WWE.
In 2010, Eric joined TNA as the General Manager, working as an on-screen personality and backstage producer. He would then leave the company claiming it had lost direction. In recent years, Eric Bischoff has not been appearing on television as much as he used to.
