Tamina Snuka got involved in pro wrestling for the first time while training at the Wild Samoan Training Center in Minneola, Florida. She made her wrestling debut on 24 May 2010, as a villainous character alongside The Usos. The three attacked the Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith and Natalya), who were at the time the Unified Tag Team Champions.

The Usos and Tamina would later lose a six-person mixed-tag team match at Fatal 4-Way in June to the Hart Dynasty. Tamina made her solo debut two weeks later against Natalya. The fight was declared void after interruption from The Nexus.
