Lando Norris is cruising in style following the delivery of his newly customized, limited edition of McLaren 765L estimated to cost £280,000 ($349,419).

He waited for 18 months to get this car which is highly personalized and takes after the 205 mph rocket.

The 23-year-old McLaren driver sought the assistance of MSO to create a one-of-a-kind limited-edition car. MSO is McLaren’s bespoke design section.

Soon after delivery, he said this is one of the finest McLarens he has driven and he is happy that he designed it.

“I’ve been able to drive a lot of different McLarens but this is the first car that I’ve designed; this is me in a car,” he tells The Sun.

“I’m a carbon lover, the more carbon I can have, the better but I didn’t want to have my logo everywhere, I wanted something a bit more subtle and MSO has done a fantastic job to realise my vision.”

The exterior of Norris’ modified car has a unique blue gloss carbon fibre finish, and the brake callipers have a yellow finish which is the colour of his F1 helmet.

His Formula One racing number, 4, is represented by four stripes that are painted in the same colour on the doors.

In addition to a plaque with his name on it, he had his initials embroidered into the headrests.

Norris didn’t want his name or brand to be prominently shown on the vehicle, but his emblem appears on the driver’s seat, and the undercarriage bears his signature.

He was captured speeding out of his garage for a test drive. Following five races this season, Norris is presently ranked ninth in the driver rankings.

His biggest performance yet in his F1 season draws back to 21 where he made a sixth podium finish.

Norris is still awaiting a first-position finish regardless. The McLaren driver is of mixed descent, Belgium British and his father, Adam Norris is among the richest people in Bristol.

His mother, Cisca Norris is Belgian which gives his son the mixed race effect. Adam worked as a pension manager and retired at 36 after selling his pension firm. He amassed an estimated $250 million fortune as a result of this.

Adam keeps building on the accomplishments he made with Horatio Investments Ltd which was his second investment company.

He opened Horatio after selling his first company in 2016. Horatio came in at number 18 on the Bristol Rich List. Although it is a private investment company, it does not add new investments to its portfolio of companies.

Adam is quite successful in the business world. Under the auspices of Horatio Investments, stationed in Glastonbury, he gives back to the community by investing £100 million in start-up companies.

Lando Norris’ father, now 53, holds a $187 million stake in Bristol-based investment company Hargreaves Lansdown.
