Newcastle United’s hero was Miguel Almiron, with Eddie Howe’s men closing in on the Champions League spots again, and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins maintained his excellent form in their draw with West Ham.

Manchester United 0-0 Southampton: Casemiro bags another Premier League red card

Unquestionably, Casemiro has been one of United’s finest players this year, but if they now fall short of the top four, the Brazilian international will bear some of the responsibility.

The resounding victory by Arsenal at Craven Cottage marked their fifth straight-away victory in a London derby without giving up a goal.

No Premier League club has ever accomplished this feat.

All three of Arsenal’s goals, which came in the first half, were set up by Trossard, who accomplished a remarkable achievement of his own.

The Belgian thus made history by recording the first-ever hat-trick of assists in the opening period of a Premier League away encounter.
