The 21-year-old has won several trophies, including the 2020-21 Division 1 Feminine, 2021-22 Coupe de France Feminine and the NWSL Shield in 2022. She has also won individual awards such as CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Golden Boot: 2020 and Canada U-20 Female Player of the Year.

Jordyn Huitema was born on May 8, 2001, in Chilliwack, a city in British Columbia, Canada. Her mother, Julie, was a competitive swimmer, whereas her father, Roger Huitema, played soccer at college.

She later joined Chilliwack FC, where she began getting proper training to be a star. At the age of 10, she joined a boys’ team because she had no competition playing with the girls.
The early career of Jordyn received an exciting boost when she was playing for Surrey in a tournament in Seattle. Her impressive performance earned her a call-up to the Canada Under-15s squad. She represented her country at the 2014 CONCACAF Girls U-15 tournament played in the Cayman Islands.
Jordyn’s international debut is one she will never forget as she scored the decisive penalty to defeat Haiti in shoot-outs and win the trophy for her nation.
In January 2015, the youngster joined the Vancouver Whitecaps FC youth set-up as part of the club’s elite REX program. Jordyn began shining on the international stage and was voted the most promising player in 2017.
The talented footballer signed with TSS FC Rovers of the Women’s Super League ahead of the 2018 season. In July 2018, there were reports that she would play for PSG Feminines at the 2018 Women’s International Champions Cup.

While playing for PSG, she maintained her amateur status, and this means she retained her eligibility to attend college. However, she decided to forego college and turn pro in January 2019, signing a four-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain four months later.
In June 2022, Jordyn Huitema decided to call time on her career in France as she transferred to the American club OL Reign. She signed a two-year contract with the club.
