- Juventus have gone three matches without a win but finally managed to get a win on Tuesday

- Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri hailed his team after the response they gave on Tuesday
Juventus‘ ability to persevere through a challenging period following their point deduction to defeat Salernitana was praised by Massimiliano Allegri.
Juve had lost its previous three Serie A games, including a shocking 2-0 loss to Monza and a 5-1 hammering by Napoli, and the club had also been penalised 15 points as a result of an inquiry into previous transfer transactions.
Dusan Vlahovic scored twice and provided an assist for teammate Filip Kostic to score the third goal as Allegri’s team dominated Salernitana 3-0 on Tuesday.
Despite being 13 points behind Lazio in fourth place, the win put Juve up to 10th, and Allegri praised his team for their tenacity during a trying time in Turin.

“The guys are responsible, we can tell each other many things, but I think it wasn’t and isn’t easy to maintain your head in the championship when 15 points were taken away from you,” Juve’s head coach told reporters.
“We set ourselves some goals, which is to catch those in front of us. Then there’s the Coppa Italia [semi-final] with Inter and the Europa League.
“It was important to win. We have 26 points, no one remembers that we scored 41 and we would be third in the standings. Look at the current standings.”
Although Massimiliano Allegri’s team had lost their previous three league games and were rattled by their 15-point deduction, they rebounded at Stadio Arechi with an impressive effort.
The visiting Bianconeri were on their way after Vlahovic’s penalty in the 28th minute, and just before halftime, the Serbian international provided a fortunate assist to fellow countryman Filip Kostic.
After 47 minutes, star player Vlahovic added his second goal, lifting the resurgent Juve up to 10th place but still 13 points behind Lazio in fourth.

Hans Nicolussi, a Juve loanee, unnecessarily fouled Fabio Miretti inside the box, giving the visitors a chance to score, and Vlahovic blasted in from the spot with the aid of Guillermo Ochoa’s left post.
The second goal was scored at the back post by Kostic after Vlahovic wasted missed the target and made a similar connection with a shoddy right-footed volley.
Following the break, Vlahovic added to his tally thanks to a deft Nicolo Fagioli through-ball, finishing coolly and low with his left foot past the charging Ochoa.
With his first-half penalty and cool finish after the break, Vlahovic increased his season total to eight goals. Allegri was thrilled to see his star striker regaining his form, and Angel Di Maria also received some crucial playing time.
“We need all these players, it’s normal that we need to improve in possession. We play every three days, so everyone is important.”
