Namibia off to a winning start in Afcon Cameroon 2021 qualifiers - Sports Leo

Hosts Namibia defeated Chad 2-1 to make a winning start to their a winning start on Afcon Cameroon 2021 qualifier campaign in Windhoek last night.

Namibia’s Chris Katjukua scored the winning goal in the 76th minute to hand the Brave Warriors three points at home.

Chad’s Peter Shalulile forced an own goal off Mathieu Adoassou in the 65th minute, but Ezechiel Ndouassei responded just two minutes later for the visitors.

The other Group A match between Mali and Guinea will be played on Thursday in Bamako, the capital city of Mali.
