The Kenya Rugby Union’s (KRU) Fixtures and Competitions’ administrator Michael Mwanja has received his World Rugby certificate as an accredited match commissioner.
Mwanja attended a training course in Johannesburg in August when the Women’s Rugby World Cup Qualifier was taking place.
Also, the KRU recently hosted a medical week which had four courses running concurrently, all concentrating on safety and injury prevention.
Out of 11 participants, five received their accreditation of which four are Kenyans.
They were Samuel Ochieng (Menengai Cream Homeboyz), Victor Boge (Strathmore Leos), Kennedy Odhiambo (Kenya Harlequins) and Dr Jeff Mailu (AIC Cure Kijabe).
