1. Simon Bloch Jorgensen – 2.10 Metres

Danish footballer Simon Bloch is the tallest goalkeeper in the world with a remarkable height of 2.10 metres or 6 ft 10.5 in. Simon last played for Waltham Abbey and has been a free agent since 2022, as per his Wikipedia page. Over the years, he has played for various clubs, including Whitehawk, Waltham Forest, Greve IF and Dulwich Hamlet.
Simon, who is 31, comes from a footballing family as his grandfather and great-uncle were footballers. He is considered the tallest footballer ever.
2. Kristof Van Hout – 2.08 Metres
Taking the second spot on the list of the tallest goalkeepers in football is Kristof Van Hout. Van Hout, who is now retired, stands 2.08 metres tall. The Belgian spent most of his career days in Europe playing for clubs such as Willem II, Kortrijk, Genk and Lommel.
3. Jacob Samnik – 2.07 Metres
Jacob Samnik is a professional footballer from the United States who currently plays for FSV Fernwald. He is a product of the Kalonji Soccer Academy and is notable for his amazing height. The 23-year-old is 2.07 metres tall.
4. Tonny Brogaard – 2.06 Metres
Standing 2.06 metres tall, there is no doubting the fact that Tonny Brogaard is one of the tallest goalkeepers in football. The 40-year-old last played for Boldklubben Frem in the Danish 1st Division. He also played at Doncaster Rovers, Greve IF and Avedore IF.
5. Tomas Holy – 2.06 Metres
Tomas Holy is another goalkeeper standing 2.06 metres tall. The 32-year-old has played for various clubs across Europe and is currently signed to EFL League One club Carlisle United.
6. Kjell Scherpen – 2.06 Metres
Kjell Scherpen is a Dutch goalkeeper who plays for Sturm Graz on loan from Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. Scherpen joined Brighton in 2021 but has been loaned out several times due to lack of playing time. The talented goalkeeper stands at 2.06 metres tall.
7. Lucas Bergstrom – 2.05 Metres

21-year-old Lucas Bergstrom is one of the tallest goalkeepers in football. The Finish talent started his career playing for his native side TPS. He then joined Chelsea in 2018 and played for the club’s youth team until 2022. He was then loaned out to Peterborough United for the 2022-23 season and went on to make over 20 appearances for the League One club.
Bergstrom, who is currently 22, has been on loan at Brommapojkarna since the start of this month. He has been identified as one of the best young keepers.
8. Vanja Ivesa – 2.05 Metres
Vanja Ivesa was a professional for several years before ending his playing career in 2021. The veteran goalkeeper was a journeyman and played for clubs such as Istra, Rijeka, Sydney United and Opatija, among others. He holds the record for the oldest player to make an appearance in the Croatian First Football League at the age of 41.

9. Dino Hodzic – 2.05 Metres
Dino Hodzic is 2.05 metres tall, just like Bergstrom and Ivesa. The Croatian, who was born in 1995, emerged from the youth ranks of Trnje Zagreb and has since played for several clubs.
10. Daniel Muller – 2.05 Metres
Daniel Muller is from Germany. He has spells at some of the biggest clubs in the Bundesliga, including Bayern Munich and Augsburg. Muller is a giant who stands at 2.05 metres and is one of the tallest goalkeepers in football.
