Career
Cody Gakpo began his football career at PSV, joining the club’s academy in 2007. He went through PSV’s youth system and became part of the reserve team for the first time during the 2016-17 season. He mainly featured for the U19 team.
On 4 November 2016, Cody Gakpo made his professional debut in a match against Helmond Sport in the Erste Divisie. The following season, he scored seven goals and provided five assists for the U19 team.
