Career

Being French-born, Said was enrolled at the French youth football academy Rennes, joining the France youth international where he represented his country in the U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels.

He made his Ligue 1 debut in 2013, in a match against Lille ending up in a goalless draw at Stade de la Route de Lorient. In the 2014-15 season, he was loaned to Laval on the last day of the transfer window, being loaned up to Ligue 1 Dijon in the 2015-16 season.

He signed a four years contract with Dijon with a transfer fee to Rennes which was reported to be $1.65 million with $548,955 more in bonuses and a 20% sell-on clause.

In 2019, he joined club Toulouse on a four years deal and in 2022, he moved to Ligue 1 club Lens signing a four contract. In mid-January 2023, the contract was further extended and will expire in 2026.

The same year he signed in at Lens, he has a number of injuries that put him off the pitch for at least three weeks to one month to recover. He first had an ankle ligament injury that occurred in October 2019. This took him twenty-one days to recover. In December of the same year, he had another injury-MCL Ligament that saw him off the pitch for over a month.
