He played for Lorient for two years then moved to England where he joined Premier League club Manchester City immediately being sent to the development squad. He began as a regular in the U-18 making 20 appearances and scored 5 goals in the League. He played seven times in the club’s UEFA Youth League campaign against CSKA Moscow and Benfica Juniors where he scored two times.

He also played for Manchester City U-21 friendly match against HNK Rijeka where he was abused by a player from the opposition in terms of his race. This was a provocation to the Manchester City U-21 squad who walked off the pitch  promoting cancellation of the match.

This was a sign of solidarity to their own. Their then manager Patrick Vieira praised their action of walking out.

He only took three years at Manchester joining Serie A side Udinese, on a five-years deal worth 2.5 million pounds [$3.1 million]. addition to move, there was a 2 million pounds [ equivalent to$2.5 million] of bonus.

He signed another contract on loan in 2014 for Fulham. His performance convinced Fulham to extend the loan until the end of the season, making 25 appearances and scored once.

Inter Milan are targeting him to move into their club and if all goes well, he is to be paid a sum of 20-25 million pounds as his transfer fee.
