However, Wolves had rejected a £15m bid from Tottenham for winger Traore but there are talks between Tottenham and Wolves over a deal for Adama Traore. According to the Italian sources, Juventus is set to bring in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, with the Serb’s agents not considering offers from the Gunners and Hotspurs.
Conte’s side is exploring a possible swap deal with Roma which would see Tanguy Ndombele move to Serie A in exchange for Jordan Veretout, even as the Spurs boss look forward to a least three signing ahead of the transfer window deadline, as his side prepare to launch an assault on the top four.
Spurs have however been in a pole position to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer in the summer but faced stiff competition from Inter Milan and Barcelona. Hotspur’s bid to sign AC Milan’s midfielder Franck Kessie in January has reportedly been frustrated by the Serie A giant’s refusal to accept a swap deal involving Tanguy Ndombele. Conte has been keen to see off the challenge of Manchester United and sign Kessie, who has to be out of contract at the end of the season.

Newcastle United are leading the chase to sign Dele Alli this month but Brighton, Burnley and Everton are among a clutch of Premier League teams poised to move for the midfielder if he is still at Tottenham this week. Hotspurs have remained in talks with Paris Saint-Germain PSG over a loan deal for Tanguy Ndombele, who looks set to leave Tottenham in January, with Serie A his most likely destination being Juventus that has already been sounded out for a possible loan deal.
Ajax will have to make one final attempt to land Steven Bergwijn, even though Antonio Conte wants him to stay at the club, even as the club look forward to selling him for the right price in order to help fund a swoop for Wolves winger Adama Traore. Tottenham is reported to have rejected a £15m bid from Ajax for Bergwijn and remain in talks with the Dutch side over the sale of the winger. The club has also held talks for Tanguy Ndombele to leave the club this January, with Spurs also considering offers for Dele Alli to depart.
