Lukaku rejoins Chelsea 10 years after his first signing to the club as a teenager with a big football dream.
He then moved to Everton after a “frustrating stay” with Chelsea and later joined Inter through Manchester United.
At Inter, his star shone bright scoring 24 goals in the Serie A league.
Lukaku previously set his mind to completing another season with the Italian league but he changed his mind.
He pushed for his new move to Chelsea after the Blues expressed undying interest in having him back after a decade.
Speaking of his return to Chelsea, Lukaku said he is blessed.
“I’m happy and blessed to be back at this wonderful club. It’s been a long journey for me: I came here as a kid who had a lot to learn, now I’m coming back with a lot of experience and more mature,” a statement on Chelsea’s website read.

“The way the club is going fits my ambitions perfectly at 28 and just coming off winning Serie A. I think this opportunity comes at the right time and hopefully, we can have a lot of success together.”
The Belgium international added that it has been a long journey since he left the Blues.
“Since I left Chelsea, it’s been a long journey with a lot of ups and downs, but these experiences made me strong and the challenge is to try to help the team win some more trophies. I can’t wait to get started and to help the club achieve more success.”
