Arsenal have won the trophy which was at some point considered the most prestigious silverware a record 14 times. They won the title for the first time in 1939 after beating Huddersfield in the final. They would then go on to win it 13 more times, with the last one coming in 2020.
2. Manchester United – 13
Manchester United won their 13th FA CUP title on Saturday. It came at a time when manager Erik ten Hag needed something to convince the fans and board that he should to stay. While the triumph might see him get another chance to continue managing United next season, it saw the club increase the number of FA Cups won.
Putting the FA Cup aside, Manchester United are one of the most decorated football teams in the word. The Red Devils won every trophy they could during the Sir Alex Ferguson era. While they have struggled since the Scott ended his managerial career, they are still a respected club in England.

The Blues have won the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and even FA Cup. In fact, they have won an astonishing 8 FA Cups, with the first one coming in 1979. They won the second one in 1997 and then followed it with more victories in 2000, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2018. Chelsea were knocked out if this year’s FA by Manchester City in the semi-finals stage.
4. Tottenham Hotspur – 8
While it might surprise someone who has started supporting football recently that Tottenham Hotspur have won eight FA Cups over the years. This is due to the fact that Spurs haven’t won a silverware for close to two decades.
But this wasn’t the case in the past. Tottenham won their first FA in 1901 and claimed seven more before the end of the 20th century. Their last FA triumph was more than 30 years ago when they beat Nottingham Forest in the 1991 final. They are tied for the most victories with Chelsea and need to wake up from their comfort zone before being overtaken by another club on the list.
5. Liverpool – 7
Well, there’s no way that the most successful club in England was going to miss on the list of teams that have won the most FA Cups. Liverpool began their dominance in English football in the 1960s when managed by the legendary Bill Shankly.

Despite Liverpool winning almost every trophy with Jurgen Klopp, the FA Cup somehow eluded them. The Reds will be starting a new era under manager Arne Slot next season and the FA will be one of the trophies they’ll be targeting to add to their trophy cabinet
