  • He plays as a shooting guard for Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA
  • He missed the final game of the Cavalier this season due to a calf injury

Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell missed Game 4 and  5 due to a calf injury, the Cavaliers lost to the Celtics and this marks the end of the season, as they miss their Championship dream.

The Cavaliers lost the game to Boston Celtics on Wednesday night and this has brought them to the end of the end of the season. His absence at the game was a big blow as he is one of the best players in the team and would definitely salvage his team if he was present.

This is not the first time he is having an injury as during the 2023 Eastern Conference semifinals against the Celtics, he suffered a left calf strain that forced him to miss games, impacting the Cavaliers playoff run.

In this season, he missed 27 games due to a lingering knee issue, a bone bruise on his left knee. Despite the injury, several NBA teams are interested in acquiring him through a trade if the Cavaliers make him available. The possible suitors are the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.
