There was plenty of action in the boxing world last year, from Gervonta “Tank” Davis knocking out social media star Ryan Garcia to Terence Crawford dismantling Errol Spence Jr. to Francis Ngannou making his debut against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
2024 started with a bang but there’s still more action to come. The biggest fight of the year so far has been Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou which the Briton won via KO in the second round. However, that fight won’t be the talk until the end of the year as 57-year-old Mike Tyson is expected to get back into the ring and face Jake Paul while Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are also expected to battle it out for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

1. Dalton Smith Vs Jose Zepeda – March 23
We start our list of boxing schedule 2024 with the Dalton Smith vs Jose Zepeda fight which will go down this coming Saturday (March 23). The fight will take place at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England, and will see British junior welterweight Dalton Smith seek to step up from his current domestic level into the international realm by facing the former three-time world title challenger.
2. Oscar Valdez Vs Liam Wilson – March 29
Mexican superstar Oscar Valdez will step into the ring against Australian former world title challenger Liam Wilson in the 10-round fight on Friday, March 29. The junior lightweight showdown is one of the most anticipated fights of the year and it’s no surprise that the undercard features a host of unbeaten contenders and rising prospects who will continue making a name for themselves in the boxing world. The fight will take place in Glendale, Arizona.
3. Tim Tszyu Vs Sebastian Fundora – March 30
Ten days from now, Tim Tszyu will defend his WBO junior middleweight title against former WBC interim light middleweight Sebastian Fundora. The fight will go down in Las Vegas.
Also on March 30, Arsen Goulamirian will be facing Gilberto Ramirez in a fight for the WBA (super) cruiserweight title live from YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA.
4. Richardson Hitchins Vs Gustavo Lemos – April 6
Super-lightweights Richardson Hitchins and Gustavo Lemos are expected to square off on Saturday 6th April 2024 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. On the card, Diego Pacheco (20-0, 17 KOs) will be aiming to extend his nine-fight knockout streak against Shawn McCalman (15-0, 7 KOs), who is also unbeaten.
5. Devin Haney Vs Ryan Garcia – April 20
The Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia is one of the most highly anticipated fights of 2024. Haney, who is the current WBC Super Lightweight Champion will defend his title against fellow American Ryan Garcia in Brooklyn on Saturday, April 20.
6. Canelo Alvarez Vs Jaime Munguia – May 4
Boxing schedule 2024 will continue in May when Mexican superstar Saul Canelo Alvarez returns to the ring to face Jaime Munguia on May 4. On that same day, Emmanuel Rodriguez and Ryosuke Nishida will be battling it out for the IBF Bantamweight title.
7. Naoya Inoue Vs Luis Nery – May 6
Japan’s pound-for-pound hero Naoya Inoue is set to headline the biggest boxing event his country has ever seen when he takes on Mexican star Luis “Pantera” Nery on Monday, May 6. The event will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
8. Vasiliy Lomachenko Vs George Kambosos – May 12
On Sunday, May 12, Australian boxer George Kambosos is expected to bring a third world title fight in his country when he takes on Vasiliy Lomachenko for the vacant IBF lightweight title.
9. Tyson Fury Vs Oleksandr Usyk – May 18
Arguably the biggest fight so far in boxing schedule 2024, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will battle it out for the undisputed heavyweight championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on May 18.
On that same day, Emanuel Navarrete and Denys Berinchyk will be in action for the vacant WBO lightweight title in San Diego.
10. Josh Taylor Vs Jack Catterall – May 25
The Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall fight was scheduled to take place in April but has since been pushed to towards the end of May. The two will face each other in Leeds, England.
11. Artur Beterbiev Vs Dmitry Bivol – June 1
Artur Beterviev vs Dmitry Bivol is one of those fights boxing fans have been wanting to see for some time now. The dream fight is now a reality and will take place on June 1, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Also on June 1, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will be up against each other in Inglewood, California.
12. Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul – July 20
Concluding the list of confirmed fights in boxing schedule 2024 is the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight. The fight was announced this month and is expected to be a massive one as one of boxing’s finest Mike Tyson will be back in the ring at the age of 57. There will be plenty of talking points in this fight which will take place in Arlington, Texas, on July 20.
