His father played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, winning an NCAA championship alongside Michael Jordan and James Worthy. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets but primarily played professionally in Australia for the National Basketball League. Cecil’s basketball background certainly influenced his son’s passion for the game, providing him with valuable guidance during his early development.
