Career
Niklas Sule grew up in a family that loved football, with his father working as a coach at Rot-Weiss Walldorf and his elder brother playing from a young age and even getting a football scholarship in New York. Sule began his football journey at Rot-Weiss Walldorf and later joined the youth system of Eintracht Frankfurt.
In July 2009, he joined SV Darmstadt youth team where he spent a half a year and then signed with 1899 Hoffenheim. Following his impressive performance with the youth team of Hoffenheim, he was promoted to the senior team and made his Bundesliga debut in May 2013 during a match against Hamburger SV.
Sule rose through the ranks at Hoffenheim and soon became one of the best players of the team. He had a very impressive 2016-17 season and attracted the interest of top European clubs. He signed with Bayern during the 2017 January transfer window but he joined the club later in the summer.
