Career
Jiri Prochazka came across mixed martial arts for the first time prior to joining high school when a friend showed him videos of Fedor Emelianenko and Mirko Filipovic. He then began training in MMA and made his professional debut in 2012.
Prochazka spent the majority of his early career days in Czech Republic and worked with promotions such as Gladiator Fighting Championships, Fight Nights and Rizin World. In his first two years as a pro, the Czech fighter amassed a 7-2 record.
