Career
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was introduced to football when he was five years old by his older brother. It was at the same age when he began attending training sessions at local club Skjold.
Hojbjerg, who grew up admiring France’s legend Zinedine Zidane, was deployed as a striker when he began his football journey. At 14 years of age, the then-teenager was no longer a stranger to the kinetics and dynamics of football and had already had spells at two Danish clubs.
